Fall 2026 Events

We are excited to announce a CAPE tour on Wednesday, Sept. 23 from 9am-5pm. More details and registration coming in August! Join us for a day-long tour of Auburn New York – “History’s Hometown.”

The tour will feature:

  • Harriet: A Taste of Freedom, an exhibit that highlights the life and legacy of Harriet Tubman through the work of more than 30 artists in a variety of media will be featured at five venues, creating an experience that connects art, history, and place.
  • Seward House Museum will also include a guided tour of the historic home of William Henry Seward, one of the foremost politicians of the 19th century. He was a New York State Senator, Governor of New York, a United States Senator, and served as Secretary of State in the Lincoln and Johnson administrations.
  • Equal Rights Heritage Center also features a state-of-the-art exhibition of New York’s progressive history
  • Cayuga Museum of History and Art also includes other exhibits and the Case Research Laboratory, “the Birthplace of Sound Film,” which shows the working spaces of the darkroom, chemistry lab, and recording studio; the first sound camera; experimental recording equipment and a history of the commercialization of sound film.
  • Schweinfurth Art Center includes other exhibition galleries featuring quilts and fiber arts
  • Willard Memorial Chapel also features an interior designed and handcrafted entirely by the Tiffany Glass and Decorating Company of New York City.

Cost: $75 per person includes lunch, bus transportation, and entry fees for all the sites.
