We invite all Senators to participate in this orientation.

We will discuss the function of the Faculty Senate, how to communicate Senate happenings to the faculty you represent, and how to present issues of departmental interest to the Senate.

• Meet the Speaker of the Faculty Senate and the members of the University Faculty Committee (UFC).
• Hear from the chairs of the Faculty Senate Committees and learn about the work they do.
• Learn how the Senate functions.
